Maggie is just lying there on the couch, fully settled with her blanket and cushion, clearly not looking for trouble, and then Lucy is there. Watching. Waiting. You already know where this is going. These high-energy types don’t really do “leave it alone,” and honestly, that’s half the fun to watch.
Dog playfully provokes another dog in the most unique way possible
The video is about the kind of sibling dynamic that anyone with a brother or sister understands immediately. Maggie is just minding her own business on the couch in the living room. But Lucy is standing on top of the backrest like a gargoyle, and she is looking down on her older sister with a serious smirk. Then, she does it.
Lucy wags her tail and puts a paw firmly on Maggie’s forehead. It is perfectly placed right between her eyes. It’s irritating even to watch, which is the whole point of rage-baiting, and she just keeps it there. Maggie starts growling pretty much immediately, but Lucy isn’t moving.

Maggie tries to look at her human from the corner of her eye to make sure her owner is actually seeing this level of disrespect. It is a total Australian Cattle Dog move. They are known for being smart and maybe a little too focused on their targets.
